Troop Meeting Space Reminder

Please note that all building usage contracts must be signed by our regional Director of Membership Services. Also, some sites may require a Certificate of Insurance, which our director can provide. Contact Rebecca Rende, rrende@gsofct.org, to send her your contracts. If you’re meeting in one of the Greenwich Public Schools, our Certificate of Insurance is already on file.

If you're meeting in a private home, there is a checklist (Meeting Place Safety Guidelines) to make sure the home is safe. You also must file a Private Residence Annual Authorization form, which is sent to the Registrar; she will send it to Council.
New This Year:

Any parents who want to help drive Girl Scouts on field trips must complete the application process and pass a background check. Click on the brown Quick Guide button (above) to access the forms. Once the application process has been completed, the Troop/Group Driver Annual Form must be filled out and kept with the Troop Leader's binder that holds all health forms and permission slips.

There is a new Over-the-Counter Medication Form permission slip, which allows troop leaders to administer items like Tylenol, Benedryl, etc. Keep one on file for each Girl Scout.

Recognizing that some leaders need to know how their Girl Scouts are getting picked up from a meeting, there is now an Annual Pick-Up Authorization Form. A parent can list the names of whom is allowed to take a girl home, as well as indicate if she is permitted to walk home on her own.
Most Frequently Used Forms
are now available on an exclusive page ...

... and nicely organized! The forms are separated by subject, and you'll always find the latest version ready to download, both as a simple PDF and as a writable PDF (when available). Look for Troop Trip Application, Permission SlipAnnual Consent FormGirl and Adult Registration forms, etc. To find this well-organized page, please click on the brown button labeled "Quick Guide to Forms" on the right.

Remember: All these forms still need an actual signature (not typed, scanned, or faxed) to be considered acceptable by Girl Scout (GSUSA) standards.
Do you have pictures to share?

We're looking for photographs, of anything and everything. Went on a field trip? Did a service project? Walked in a parade? Or just caught your Scouts having fun? Send them in to the webmaster!

(Note: please make sure your scouts' parents have signed the Annual Consent form for publishing of photographs.)
